For the first time in its history, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) lit its two towers pink in solidarity with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a gesture reflecting its support for raising awareness of the importance of early detection and for standing by women fighting the disease throughout their treatment.
The move coincides with October, the month dedicated worldwide to breast cancer awareness, and aims to highlight the importance of women's health, encourage women to have regular check-ups, and raise awareness of the role early detection plays in improving the chances of successful treatment and recovery.
Lighting the bank's two towers pink carries a message of hope and solidarity with every woman facing the disease, and underlines the importance of psychological and community support for these fighters and their families, alongside medical treatment.
Through this gesture, the bank stressed that every act of support can make a difference, and that raising awareness is a shared responsibility requiring concerted efforts to reach as many women as possible and encourage them to take real steps to check on their health.
The initiative reflects NBE's commitment to engaging with social and health causes and supporting awareness messages that help build a more informed society. The color pink embodies a call for solidarity and a message that hope and support make a difference in the life of every woman fighting the disease.
