As part of its commitment to promoting health awareness and supporting community initiatives, SAIB took part in October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities. A group of the bank's female employees visited the Egyptian Foundation for Breast Cancer Control to learn about its work supporting women living with the disease and to highlight the importance of awareness and early detection.

The visit also included an awareness session on the importance of early detection of breast cancer, ways to prevent it, and the role of regular screening in improving the chances of early diagnosis and managing the disease.

The employees had the opportunity to hear inspiring stories from breast cancer survivors, who shared their personal experiences and journeys in facing the disease, the challenges they went through, and how they overcame them with determination, emotional support and the backing of those around them.

The day also included breast cancer screening for the participating employees, a step aimed at encouraging them to look after their health and have regular check-ups, and at embedding a culture of early detection as one of the most important ways of confronting the disease.

During the visit, the bank's employees also handed out gifts to breast cancer survivors, a gesture of appreciation for their journey in facing the disease and overcoming its challenges.

This participation reflects SAIB's commitment to spreading health awareness among its staff, supporting initiatives that raise public awareness of health issues, and underlining the importance of solidarity and human support for women at every stage of their journey with the disease.
