The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced that Suez Canal Bank has submitted documents to list the shares of an increase in its issued and paid-up capital from EGP 10 billion to EGP 15 billion. The EGP 5 billion increase will be made through the issue of 500 million shares (distributed as bonus shares) with a par value of EGP 10 per share, funded from the shareholders' share of dividends shown in the financial statements as of 31-12-2025.
In a disclosure, the exchange said the documents submitted by the bank are being reviewed, completed and studied ahead of presentation to the EGX listing committee.
