Housing & Development Bank (HDB) has warned against fraud attempts linked to fake job advertisements, stressing the importance of verifying the source of any job opportunity before opening links or sharing personal data. The warning is part of the bank's efforts to protect job seekers from online scams.

The bank explained that fraudsters may use job ads or fake accounts to ask for registration or training fees, or to obtain personal and banking details under the pretext of completing hiring procedures.

The bank stressed the need to make sure its job opportunities are published through its official channels, which include:

  • The bank's official website: the Careers page.

  • The bank's official page on LinkedIn.

HDB affirmed that it does not ask job applicants to pay any fees for employment, nor does it ask for their banking details during the application process.

The bank urged the public to report any fraud attempts or suspicious ads by calling customer service on 19995.

HDB invests in its people:

  • HDB affirms that its people are a key pillar of its success, as it works to attract the best talent and retain the expertise and skills needed to deliver outstanding banking and housing services.

  • The bank is also committed to supporting its employees and developing their skills through ongoing training programs, helping them keep pace with developments in the job market and the banking sector.

  • The bank pays attention to creating a positive work environment based on the values of equality, integrity and transparency, while encouraging teamwork, self-development, and language and technology skills.

Banky's advice for customers:
