Saudi Arabia's Alinma Bank posted net profit of about SAR 1.6 billion in the third quarter of 2026, down a slight 0.2% from the same period last year.

The bank attributed the decline to lower fee income from banking services and lower income from fair-value investment valuations, along with weaker income from other operations and higher provisions for expected credit losses. This came despite growth in net income from financing and investment and in currency exchange income.

On the revenue side, net special commission income from financing rose 9.4% year on year to SAR 2.2 billion in the third quarter of 2026.

Net special commission income from investments also climbed 7.8% to more than SAR 354 million over the same period.

By contrast, net provisions for expected credit losses and other losses jumped 56% year on year to SAR 400 million in the third quarter, weighing on the bank's net profit.
