In a warning to its customers, SAIB has urged them to follow security precautions when using automated teller machines (ATM): make sure no one sees the card's personal identification number (Card PIN), keep the card safe and never hand it to anyone else.

The bank stresses the importance of checking that an ATM has not been tampered with before using it, noting that following security procedures helps protect customers' money and reduce the risk of fraud.

In doing so, SAIB aims to raise banking awareness among its customers and promote a culture of security when using banking services, guiding them to take the steps needed to protect their data and bank cards, which helps safeguard their money and limit the risk of fraud.
