Bank cardholders carried out about 43.9 million transactions worth a total of EGP 65.9 billion through Egypt Post channels between July 2025 and March 2026, according to the Financial Stability Report published on the Central Bank of Egypt's (CBE) website.

The number of transactions grew by about 11% and their value by 30%, compared with about 39.7 million transactions worth EGP 50.6 billion in the same period a year earlier.

Egypt Post channels give bank cardholders additional outlets for their financial transactions, making financial services easier to access and supporting efforts to expand the use of electronic payments and strengthen financial inclusion.
