National Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (NBK Egypt) is taking part in the Central Bank of Egypt's financial inclusion event, the "Savings Celebration", coinciding with Global Money Week and World Savings Day, from October 15 to 31, 2026, as part of efforts to promote financial inclusion and spread a culture of saving.
Across all of the bank's branches, customers can open the individual financial inclusion account, the "Laki" women's savings account, the youth account and the financial inclusion account for micro-enterprises with no account-opening fees and no minimum balance. The bank is also activating internet banking and issuing debit cards, as well as issuing the "Meeza" prepaid card free of charge.
The bank is also helping to spread financial awareness and education among customers, introducing them to the importance of financial services and encouraging them to use technology solutions and alternative banking channels, through its website and social media pages.
