As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting financial inclusion and women’s economic empowerment, Kuwait Finance House–Egypt (KFH–Egypt), in collaboration with Entreprenelle, announced the launch of a new phase of the “SHEGPT” programme, under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the National Council for Women, the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, and the Differently Abled Fund.
The new phase builds on a successful partnership focused on supporting Egyptian women and equipping them with modern digital skills to expand their opportunities in freelancing, entrepreneurship, and small business management. These efforts aim to strengthen women’s economic participation and further integrate them into the formal financial system.
Since the partnership began, the programme has reached hundreds of women and young women across various governorates, providing them with knowledge and modern digital tools, particularly artificial intelligence applications. These resources help participants develop their businesses and strengthen their decision-making, financial planning, and business management capabilities.
Throughout 2026, the programme continued to expand its impact, supporting more than 9,000 participants and beneficiaries through various events and initiatives. It also provided direct training to 300 women on using AI tools to develop their businesses and enhance their economic and professional opportunities, supporting Egypt’s efforts to build a more inclusive and sustainable digital economy.
Commenting on the partnership, Khaled Hamza, Head of Marketing, Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at KFH–Egypt, said: “At KFH–Egypt, we believe that women’s economic empowerment is a fundamental pillar of sustainable development and financial inclusion. With this in mind, we are committed to supporting initiatives that enable women and young women to acquire modern digital skills and apply them to managing and growing their businesses. Our partnership with the SHEGPT programme demonstrates how the banking sector and entrepreneurship support organisations can work together to open new avenues for Egyptian women to participate actively in the digital economy, strengthen their financial independence, and achieve sustainable business growth.”
Rania Ayman, Founder and CEO of Entreprenelle, said: “We are proud to continue our partnership with KFH–Egypt, which represents a successful model of collaboration between the banking sector and organisations supporting entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment. Through SHEGPT, we aim to equip women and female business owners with the digital skills and practical knowledge they need to grow their businesses, strengthen their economic participation, and benefit from the opportunities offered by the digital economy. We believe that empowering women with the right knowledge and tools helps advance financial inclusion and create sustainable growth opportunities for individuals and communities. This motivates us to continue developing impactful initiatives that reach different governorates and target groups.”
The collaboration reflects a shared vision between KFH–Egypt and Entreprenelle that places investment in people at the heart of development and recognises women as key partners in economic growth. By combining financial awareness, digital skills, and AI tools, the partnership helps women and young women access the resources and knowledge needed to grow their businesses and achieve economic independence, supporting Egypt’s financial inclusion and sustainable development efforts.
