Egyptian teams that qualified from the fourth edition of FinTech Got Talent 2026, the competition recently launched by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), scored a notable achievement at the Arab FinTech Challenge, winning first place for the fourth year in a row as well as third place this year. The challenge was held recently as part of Jordan FinTech Festival 2026 in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with five Arab countries taking part: Jordan, Qatar, Lebanon, Tunisia and Palestine.
First place went to FinFamily, a project by students of Cairo University's Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, for its innovative app offering an integrated digital platform that promotes financial literacy among children. Third place went to PayRamids, a project by students of the College of Computing and Information Technology at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, for its app providing an integrated HR and payroll management system for small and medium-sized enterprises, along with access to short-term financing from banks and finance providers.
