The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) continued its supervisory and coordinating role in following up on complaints and requests received through the Cabinet's Unified Government Complaints System during September, referring them to the relevant banks and their branches and following up on how they are examined, handled and their causes removed.
This came in a report on the achievements of the system and its affiliated government bodies, reviewed by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and prepared by Dr. Tarek El Refaey, Assistant Secretary-General of the Cabinet for Complaints and Citizen Satisfaction.
The CBE's efforts included following up on the actions banks take on the complaints and requests referred to them, helping to reach the most appropriate response to each complaint or request according to its nature, and notifying citizens of the results of the review and the actions taken.
This follow-up reflects coordination between the CBE, banks and the Unified Government Complaints System to ensure that citizens' complaints are examined, their causes addressed, and complainants informed of the outcome.
