The meeting was attended by Dina Abou Taleb, Head of the Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility Group at NBE; Dr. Walid El Mallah, Chairman of Rawabet Sports; Dr. Haitham El Mallah, the company's Vice Chairman; and Islam Saeed, Deputy General Manager of Sponsorships and Conferences at NBE.

The meeting is part of the Ministry of Youth and Sports' drive to strengthen partnerships with banking-sector and private-sector institutions and to direct social responsibility toward projects and programs with a lasting impact that help discover and nurture talent and provide a supportive environment for young people throughout the country.

Participants discussed ways to broaden cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports, NBE and Rawabet to support the talent discovery and development system, reach outstanding athletes across different sports, and give them the right environment to develop and continue their sporting careers.

NBE representatives reviewed the bank's efforts to support Egyptian sport by sponsoring a number of sports federations and athletes, as well as sponsoring and supporting the "Al Abakera" (The Geniuses) program. They stressed the importance of continued cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to achieve greater impact in supporting talent and athletes.

The meeting also covered sponsoring and empowering champions with disabilities and ways to give them more attention and further support and sponsorship opportunities, in line with the state's drive to empower people with disabilities, integrate them into all fields and draw on their sporting abilities and talents.

The meeting reviewed a number of national projects the ministry is running to discover and nurture sporting talent. These aim to identify promising athletes from an early age and develop and train them on scientific foundations, building new generations of champions able to represent Egypt at sporting events.

The meeting also discussed opportunities for cooperation between the ministry and NBE to upgrade and improve the efficiency of a number of youth centers nationwide, strengthening their ability to provide integrated sports and youth services and supporting their role as one of the most important community assets serving children and young people in every governorate.

The Minister of Youth and Sports stressed the importance of integrating the efforts of state institutions, the banking sector and the private sector, and of drawing on the capabilities and expertise of all parties, in support of the state's drive to build an integrated talent discovery system. He underlined the need for specialized scouts to reach talent in all governorates and regions, so that discovering outstanding athletes is not limited to a particular geographic area.

Gohar Nabil pointed to the importance of expanding the partnership in the coming period to deliver tangible results in nurturing sports talent, supporting champions, caring for people with disabilities and upgrading youth centers, as part of social responsibility and in support of the state's efforts to invest in people and build the capabilities of youth and children.
