Remittances from Egyptians working abroad rose by 28.1% in the first seven months of 2026 (January to July 2026), reaching about USD 29.7 billion, compared with about USD 23.2 billion in the same period of the previous year.

Remittances from Egyptians working abroad also kept up their upward trend, rising by 20.0% in July 2026 to about USD 4.5 billion, compared with about USD 3.8 billion in July 2025.
