As part of its commitment to supporting small and micro enterprises, empowering nursery owners and providing a safe, suitable environment for childcare, Nasser Social Bank, chaired by Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Maya Morsy, continues to offer its concessional financing product, Hadanti. The bank has raised the maximum financing for existing nurseries to EGP 1 million, helping owners develop, expand and regularise their projects, while also making financing available to those who want to open new nurseries. Dr. Morsy said that continuing to offer Hadanti reflects the bank's drive to provide accessible financing solutions that meet business owners' needs and support the sustainability and development of their projects, particularly those providing childcare and child development services, in line with the state's efforts to expand early-childhood services and improve the quality of services offered to children.
The Minister of Social Solidarity, who chairs Nasser Social Bank's board, added that the financing targets owners of existing nurseries as well as those wishing to set up new ones. It funds the establishment, development and regularisation of nurseries for children under the age of four, helping owners raise the standard of their services and meet the requirements for operating.
Walid El-Nahhas, the bank's deputy chair, added that the financing carries a preferential rate of 5% a year, with amounts of up to EGP 1 million and repayment periods ranging from one to four years. It also comes with a grace period of up to 3 months from the date the financing is granted, giving beneficiaries a better chance to launch or develop their business before repayments begin.
El-Nahhas explained that applicants must be between 21 and 65 years old at the end of the financing term, and must provide the documents and complete the procedures required under the bank's rules.
The bank aims to keep the application simple, with key documents including copies of the national ID cards of the customer and the guarantor, proof of the customer's residence and of the nursery's premises, a copy of the educational qualification certificate, the nursery licence or proof that licensing procedures have begun, and a criminal record certificate addressed to the bank, as well as a recent commercial register extract, a copy of the tax card and a feasibility study for the project. The collateral required varies with the nature of the project and may take the form of a personal guarantor, salary or pension assignment, or savings products, in line with the bank's applicable rules and procedures.
Nasser Social Bank said that continuing to offer Hadanti and raising the financing ceiling for existing nurseries are part of its strategy to expand financing for projects with economic and social impact and to support business owners at every stage, helping to create jobs, strengthen projects' ability to grow and endure, and deliver better services to families and children.
The product also reflects the bank's commitment to using its financing tools to support socially oriented projects and to provide suitable financing for nursery owners, helping them develop their businesses and achieve sustainability, while supporting the state's efforts to provide comprehensive childcare services across the governorates.
