As part of the Egyptian state's ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with Egyptians abroad, improve the services offered to them and ease their access to banking services, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates have launched the "Update Your Data in Egypt" initiative. The initiative was launched in partnership with National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, in coordination with the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Combating Unit and in cooperation with the Federation of Egyptian Banks.

As part of the initiative, the CBE has published an explainer video setting out the details of the "Update Your Data in Egypt" initiative, launched by the CBE in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to make banking services easier for Egyptians working abroad.
