The Central Bank of Egypt, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has launched the national initiative to support outstanding students at Egyptian universities, the "Future Scientists Scholarship".

The initiative offers full scholarships covering tuition fees and accommodation for outstanding students who benefit from the Takaful and Karama programme and for students exempted from tuition fees by the Ministry of Education.

This is the second round, after the first group was admitted in the previous academic year, 2025-2026, to study for a bachelor's degree (BSc or BA) at national (ahliya) universities. The scholarships cover scientific disciplines the state needs across its various geographic regions, helping to prepare a generation able to innovate and contribute effectively to sustainable development in society.
