The ATM dispensed only part of the amount... what should I do?

If the ATM debits the full amount but only dispenses a portion, the transaction is not considered successful.

Steps

1. Note the time and location of the machine, the requested amount, and the actual amount dispensed, and keep the receipt if available.

2. Contact your card issuer bank and file a complaint for "insufficient cash disbursement" and obtain the reference number.

3. Do not make another withdrawal until you have checked your balance and the status of the first transaction.
