As part of its commitment to social responsibility and to supporting sustainable development efforts, Bank ABC signed a cooperation protocol with the Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burns Treatment, aimed at supporting burn patients and helping to provide them with specialised healthcare services. The protocol was signed by Rabie El Halaby, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Bank ABC Egypt, and Heba El Sewedy, Founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burns Treatment. Through this cooperation, Bank ABC will support the foundation's efforts to provide specialised medical care to burn patients by helping to equip and support a bed in one of the intensive care rooms, contributing to the hospital's operating expenses, and providing laser treatment sessions for patients, supporting their recovery and rehabilitation.

Rabie El Halaby, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Bank ABC Egypt, said: "We are proud of our partnership with the Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burns Treatment, which embodies Bank ABC Egypt's commitment to its social role and its keenness to make a positive and lasting impact. As part of our ambitious vision for growth in the Egyptian market, our priorities are not limited to offering our customers an outstanding banking experience; they extend to contributing effectively to community development, as social responsibility is a core pillar of the bank's strategy.

This cooperation reinforces the importance of joining efforts between the banking sector and specialised medical institutions, helping to support the provision of healthcare for burn patients and improve their chances of recovery and rehabilitation, particularly the most vulnerable groups, giving them hope for a better life. The initiative also reflects our commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, in line with the Central Bank of Egypt's direction on social responsibility and Egypt Vision 2030. We look forward to continuing to build strategic, impactful partnerships with civil society institutions, so that together we can contribute to a better and more sustainable future."

Dr. Heba El Sewedy, Founder and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burns Treatment, commented on the partnership: "At the Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burns Treatment, we believe that partnerships with the banking sector, such as our cooperation with Bank ABC, are a core pillar in providing comprehensive, free medical care to burn patients. This cooperation helps equip intensive care units and cover the hospital's operating expenses, strengthening our ability to provide specialised medical services to patients. Laser treatment sessions are also an important step on the road to recovery, as they help improve the effects of burns and scars, support rehabilitation, and ease patients' physical and psychological suffering, helping them regain their self-confidence and reintegrate normally into society." The cooperation embodies Bank ABC's social responsibility strategy of building effective partnerships that respond to priority community needs and help create lasting impact. Through this initiative with the Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burns Treatment, the bank affirms its commitment to supporting specialised healthcare services and strengthening efforts to treat and rehabilitate burn patients to improve their quality of life. Reaffirming its commitment to this approach, Bank ABC Egypt continues to direct its community initiatives towards making a positive difference in people's lives, contributing to sustainable development and adding value to society.
