The US dollar moved noticeably against the Egyptian pound during trading today, Thursday 29 October 2026, compared with its levels at the start of the day, according to the latest data from a number of Egyptian banks.

At National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the dollar fell to EGP 55.99 for buying and EGP 56.09 for selling, after standing at EGP 56.07 for buying and EGP 56.17 for selling at the start of trading today.

At Banque Misr, the dollar fell to EGP 55.98 for buying and EGP 56.08 for selling, compared with EGP 56.07 for buying and EGP 56.17 for selling at the start of trading today.

At QNB Egypt, the dollar fell to EGP 55.98 for buying and EGP 56.08 for selling, compared with the start of trading today.

At Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar fell to EGP 55.95 for buying and EGP 56.05 for selling, compared with the start of trading today.
