Traffic MENA is preparing to host "Ecommerce Day" on Thursday, 5 November 2026, at "Creativa Innovation Hub" in Cairo, with more than 50 speakers, experts and decision-makers from the e-commerce sector in Egypt and the Middle East, alongside more than 15 specialised workshops.
The event is being held under the slogan "Where MENA Ecommerce Meets Global Minds", at a time when the e-commerce sector is undergoing rapid change as artificial intelligence plays a growing role in the shopping journey and customers change the way they search for and compare products and make purchasing decisions.
The event is sponsored by Operix, in strategic partnership with Optimizers, led by Mohamed Nematallah. It aims to equip online store owners and marketing and operations teams with practical tools to keep pace with market developments and boost growth opportunities in Egypt and the region.
More than 30 sessions on two stages and 3 workshop halls
The Ecommerce Day programme includes more than 30 sessions spread across two stages, alongside 3 halls dedicated to workshops, allowing participants to choose the topics most relevant to their business needs.
More than 50 speakers, e-commerce experts and pioneers, will share their experience of founding online stores and scaling their businesses, while more than 15 workshops will cover various stages of an online store's growth cycle, from attracting customers and increasing sales to improving operations and shipping.
The event will also feature local and international brands sharing their market experience and the lessons learned from building and developing their businesses, as well as opportunities for direct networking between participants, platforms, partners and e-commerce service providers.
Artificial intelligence and developing online stores
The event focuses on hands-on expertise drawn from market experience, amid the shifts that artificial intelligence has brought to consumer behaviour, product discovery and the path to purchasing decisions.
The sessions and workshops aim to help business owners and specialist teams develop customer acquisition strategies, improve conversion rates and sales, and make operations and shipping more efficient, strengthening online stores' ability to adapt to changing competition and consumer needs.
The event also offers opportunities to build business partnerships and connect with the players developing the e-commerce ecosystem, including platforms, service providers and operational partners.
Through Ecommerce Day, Traffic MENA is betting on combining practical knowledge with professional networking, through experiences shared by specialists who have helped build and scale real projects, giving participants actionable ideas and opportunities to grow their businesses in an ever-changing market.
