Housing & Development Bank (HDB) has warned its customers against fake calls impersonating the bank, stressing that it will never ask them for their account details. The warning is part of the bank's effort to raise customer awareness of fraud methods and keep their data confidential.
The bank advises customers to pause before replying to any unknown message, to think before sharing their details even if the caller claims to be from the bank, and to check before opening any unfamiliar link, so as not to fall victim to fraud attempts targeting their banking data.
Housing & Development Bank seeks to strengthen banking awareness among its customers by educating them about fraud methods and fake calls, and encouraging them to take the necessary steps to keep their banking data confidential.
