Major General Tarek Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, received a delegation from the Agricultural Bank of Egypt (ABE) that included Fayza Ahmed, head of ABE branches; Mohamed Youssef, head of the East Delta region; and Ahmed Soltan, head of the Dakahlia sector. Dr. Magda Galala, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Dakahlia, also attended the meeting, which was held as part of joint cooperation to support families most in need and strengthen social protection efforts in the governorate.
During the meeting, representatives of the Social Solidarity Directorate received shopping vouchers worth a total of EGP 900,000, provided by the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, for distribution to families most in need across the governorate's districts and cities. Each family will receive EGP 500 to spend on goods and products at stores with Aman branches.
The Governor of Dakahlia stressed the need to rely on the database to identify eligible families, ensuring that the aid reaches those who deserve it and that the vouchers are distributed fairly and transparently, while also widening the base of beneficiaries across the governorate.
The governor expressed his appreciation for the community role the Agricultural Bank of Egypt plays in supporting the most vulnerable groups, praising its contributions to serving the people of Dakahlia and stressing the importance of continued joint cooperation across development fields to help improve citizens' living standards and support sustainable development efforts.
