Banque du Caire S.A.E. announced that it closed the receipt of purchase orders for the private placement tranche on 23/10/2026, with the tranche oversubscribed 6.0 times. Excluding the shares allocated to qualified investors, previously disclosed on 19 October and 23 October 2026, the private placement tranche was oversubscribed 19.8 times. The results of the tranche under the book-building mechanism also set the final price of Banque du Caire S.A.E. shares at EGP 5.30 per share.

In a disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), the bank said the deadline for registering public offering orders at EGP 5.30 per share is 28 October 2026.

Banque du Caire, one of Egypt's largest banks with a history of more than 70 years, had announced its intention to proceed with a public offering of its ordinary shares (the "Initial Public Offering" or the "Offering") on the Egyptian Exchange.

The Offering comprises (a) a private placement to qualified investors in Egypt and in a number of other countries, including qualified institutional buyers in the United States under Rule 144A of the US Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "US Securities Act"), and investors outside the United States under Regulation S of the US Securities Act (the "Private Placement"); and (b) a public offering to retail investors in Egypt (the "Public Offering").

The offering procedures allowed for the proportion of shares offered to be increased from 30% to 45%, subject to the applicable regulatory rules and approvals.

If the offering is executed at the higher proportion, the number of shares offered would reach about 6.8625 billion, worth about EGP 36.37 billion at a price of EGP 5.30 per share.
