Lesha Bank's net profit grew 50.15% in the first nine months of 2026 to QAR 210.425 million, compared with QAR 140.136 million in the same period last year.

According to financial statements published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website, earnings per share reached QAR 0.188 for the period ended 30 September 2026, compared with QAR 0.125 in the corresponding period of 2025.

Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, Chairman of Lesha Bank, said the results reflect the success of the bank's strategic direction in building a balanced, asset-backed platform capable of generating resilient returns through market cycles.

He explained that the bank aims to build an institution that does not depend on any single market or asset class, noting that consistent performance reflects the success of this approach, with a continued focus on long-term value underpinned by strong governance, commitment to Islamic Sharia principles and disciplined capital management.

Mohammed Ismail Al Emadi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Lesha Bank, said the nine-month performance reflects efficient execution across all business lines. He explained that the bank deployed capital selectively into carefully considered investment opportunities, actively managed its existing investments and realised value from some of them when conditions were right.

He added that the bank strengthened its pipeline of potential investment deals, expanded co-investments and strategic partnerships and grew its client base, contributing to growth in assets under management and a more stable income base.

Al Emadi said the focus on attracting quality deals, together with the bank's strong capital position, enhances its ability to seize opportunities in the final quarter of the year and beyond.
