Bank Albilad reported a net profit of SAR 740.2 million for the third quarter of 2026, down 3% from the same period last year, weighed down by higher operating expenses.

The bank attributed the decline to a 16% increase in total operating expenses, driven by higher other general and administrative expenses, net credit loss provisions, and depreciation and amortization expenses, despite lower salaries and related costs.

Total operating income, by contrast, rose 5%, supported by higher net income from investing and financing assets, foreign exchange gains, and increased fee, commission and other operating income.

Lower fair value gains on financial instruments and lower dividend income limited the growth in operating income.
