Banky's analysis of CIB's share performance:
CIB's 72.4% share of total banking-sector trading value at Monday's close reflects the continued concentration of liquidity in the stock, supported by its large weighting in the sector and its position among the Egyptian Exchange's blue chips. Its turnover of EGP 555.9 million, more than two-thirds of the sector total, points to intense investor interest in the stock compared with other listed banks.
Volume of about 4.5 million shares across 4,087 trades adds to the signs of strong activity in the stock during the session, while its market capitalisation of about EGP 425.5 billion keeps it among the most influential stocks driving the banking sector on the Egyptian Exchange.
