National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has announced a partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation to prepare school bags for 20,000 students in Upper Egypt governorates and border areas. The initiative supports education, eases the burden on families and helps students access a suitable learning environment.

The partnership is in line with NBE's community development strategy, which aims to achieve a positive and lasting impact by supporting initiatives that meet the basic needs of the groups most in need of care, with particular attention to education as one of the main pillars of sustainable development and a better future for coming generations.

A number of NBE volunteers also took part in preparing the school supplies, underlining their active role in serving the community and promoting a culture of volunteering, with a positive impact on people's lives.

NBE's approach to community support and development centres on helping the most vulnerable groups, particularly in Upper Egypt governorates and border areas, through integrated initiatives that contribute to comprehensive development, promote equal opportunities and improve quality of life.
