The CIB SHARE Visa credit card offers a range of benefits that reward cardholders with SHARE points on purchases, most notably:

  • SHARE points on other local and international purchases.

  • Welcome points of up to 50,000 SHARE points, equivalent to EGP 5,000.

  • SHARE points can be redeemed at more than 800 stores within the Majid Al Futtaim ecosystem, with every 10 SHARE points worth EGP 1.

  • Exclusive benefits at Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, Magic Planet and Ski Egypt.

  • A free supplementary card, with up to 4 supplementary cards available for family members.

  • The card can be used for installment transactions.

  • The card can be added to Apple Pay.

CIB offers 3 tiers of the CIB SHARE Visa credit card:

  • SHARE Rewards

    • 4% in SHARE points on purchases within the Majid Al Futtaim ecosystem.

    • 0.25% on all other local and international purchases.

    • Monthly cap: 15,000 points, equivalent to EGP 1,500.

    • Welcome points: 7,500 points, equivalent to EGP 750, on spending EGP 15,000 within the first two months.

  • SHARE Platinum

    • 6% in SHARE points on purchases within the Majid Al Futtaim ecosystem.

    • 0.5% on all other local and international purchases.

    • Monthly cap: 30,000 points, equivalent to EGP 3,000.

    • Welcome points: 15,000 points, equivalent to EGP 1,500, on spending EGP 30,000 within the first two months.

  • SHARE Signature

    • 8% in SHARE points on purchases within the Majid Al Futtaim ecosystem.

    • 1% on all other local and international purchases.

    • Monthly cap: 80,000 points, equivalent to EGP 8,000.

Documents required to apply for the CIB SHARE Visa card

  • A copy of a valid national ID card.

  • A recent electricity bill issued within the last 3 months.

  • Proof of income, which can be one of the following:

  • A salary breakdown letter.

  • Or 3 salary statements/slips from the last 6 months.

  • The bank may request additional documents depending on the customer's situation.

Eligibility requirements

  • The card is available to Egyptians and foreigners.

  • Applicants must be over 21 and under 65 years old at the time of application, with some programs setting a maximum age of 60.

  • Available to salaried employees, business owners and self-employed professionals.
