Banque du Caire's retail loan portfolio grew steadily from the end of 2022 to the end of June 2026, rising from EGP 54.238 billion to EGP 106.923 billion. That is an increase of about EGP 52.7 billion, or growth of nearly 97.1%, bringing the portfolio close to doubling in size within 3 years.

The portfolio's trajectory shows that Banque du Caire has sustained continuous growth in retail lending from 2022 to June 2026, with the portfolio rising from EGP 54.2 billion to more than EGP 106.9 billion. Although annual growth rates gradually slowed after the jump recorded in 2023, the portfolio kept posting successive increases, almost doubling in value in around 3 years.
