The number of ATMs at National Bank of Egypt (NBE) rose to 7,572 in December 2025, compared with about 7,232 in December 2024, an increase of 340 machines, as the bank expands access to its services and makes them easier for customers to reach.

The number of point-of-sale (POS) terminals rose to 758,000, from 633,000 in December 2024, an increase of 125,000 terminals. The bank had 1.9 million credit cards and 8.4 million debit cards.

Under the bank's geographic expansion strategy, its network has grown to more than 700 branches, offices and banking units across the country, including about 38 electronic service branches, helping it reach a wider customer base, especially in areas without adequate banking services.

Outside Egypt, the bank has offices in Johannesburg (South Africa), Dubai (UAE) and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), as well as branches in New York (United States), Shanghai (China) and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

The expansion is part of NBE's efforts to make banking easier for its customers by increasing service points and promoting electronic payments, alongside expanding its presence at home and abroad.
