Bank NXT offers the NXT WIN program to enhance the benefits of using its Visa credit cards. The rewards scheme lets customers collect points on their card transactions and redeem them for exclusive rewards and benefits, as part of the bank's aim to give its credit cardholders added value and encourage them to use their cards more in everyday transactions.

Below are the details of the NXT WIN program and the main benefits and rewards it offers Bank NXT customers.

Key NXT WIN terms and benefits

  • The program is open to all customers holding valid credit cards.

  • Enrollment is automatic when the card is issued, with no additional enrollment fee.

  • Customers must make sure the Egyptian mobile number registered with the bank is up to date to benefit from the program.

  • The bank sets the value of reward points and the earning rates and may change them at its discretion, announcing any changes on its official website.

  • Primary and supplementary cards pool points into a single balance, which belongs to the primary cardholder, who alone is authorized to redeem it.

  • Each account allows a maximum of 8 cards.

  • Points expire 2 years after the date they are earned.

  • Points are cancelled if the card is closed, if payments are defaulted on or if the customer dies, and cannot be used afterwards.

  • Points cannot be refunded and a redemption cannot be reversed once the redemption request is confirmed.

  • If points are redeemed for vouchers used at participating merchants, the points cannot be refunded if the item is returned or exchanged.

  • SMS messages for e-vouchers may be delayed for technical reasons beyond the bank's control.

  • Any fraud or misuse related to earning or redeeming points may result in the points being cancelled and the cardholder's participation in the program being terminated.

  • The bank reserves the right to modify, change or cancel any part of the rewards program, announcing this on its official website.

  • In the program's second phase, customers will be able to track their points balance and transaction history through the online portal and the mobile app.

  • Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the email address used on the payment page to receive redemption benefits, and the bank is not responsible for errors or problems resulting from incorrect data.

Points earning rates on Bank NXT cards

The rate at which NXT WIN reward points are earned varies by credit card type. Bank NXT credits a percentage of the value of eligible purchases to the customer's points balance, subject to each card's monthly limits, as follows:

  • Spark credit card: points equal to 1.5% of purchase value, with a maximum of EGP 50,000 of monthly spending counted toward points. For example, spending EGP 10,000 earns 150 points, equivalent to EGP 150.

  • Platinum credit card: points equal to 2% of purchase value, with a maximum of EGP 200,000 of monthly spending counted toward points. Spending EGP 10,000 earns 200 points, equivalent to EGP 200.

  • Infinite credit card: points equal to 2.5% of purchase value, with a maximum of EGP 500,000 of monthly spending counted toward points. Spending EGP 10,000 earns 250 points, equivalent to EGP 250.

  • Bank NXT X Valu card: the earning rate varies by transaction type, as follows:

    • 1% of domestic spending in points, excluding fuel, cinema and on-demand ride apps such as Uber and Careem.

    • 1.5% of domestic spending on fuel, cinema and on-demand ride apps.

    • 2% of international spending in points.

    • The maximum spending counted toward points is EGP 50,000 per month.

NXT WIN redemption terms

The NXT WIN program lets Bank NXT customers redeem reward points in several ways, giving cardholders flexibility in using their accumulated points. Redemption options include:

  • Redeeming points for e-vouchers.

  • Using points to book flights.

  • Using points for hotel bookings.

  • Redeeming points for car rental services.

  • Refunding purchases through the Visa Real-time Rewards Redemption (RRR) service.

Key redemption terms include:

  • The minimum for standard redemptions starts at EGP 50.

  • The monthly maximum that can be redeemed through the RRR service is about EGP 3,000 per customer.

  • A transaction must be at least EGP 5,000 to be eligible for redemption through the RRR service.

  • If the points balance is not enough to complete a redemption, the customer can pay the difference with any credit or debit card.

  • Redemptions made with points are recorded as cash-back (Moneyback) transactions and do not count as payment of the credit card's outstanding balance.

  • If flights, hotel bookings or car rentals are cancelled, the booking's original cancellation policy and terms apply.

  • If the booking is refundable, the customer may be subject to cancellation fees charged by the original supplier or service provider.
