Marking Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Commercial International Bank (CIB) is working to raise customers' awareness of the importance of protecting their banking data and countering online fraud attempts, stressing that banking details must be kept confidential and never shared with any untrusted person or party.

CIB also made clear that the bank never asks customers to disclose their card PINs, one-time passwords (OTPs) or internet banking login details.

The bank urged customers to be careful with online links and avoid clicking any untrusted ones, and to keep their apps up to date and use the security options available on their devices to better protect their accounts and banking data.

The bank stressed the importance of customers being aware of online fraud methods and following security procedures when using digital banking services, to keep their data confidential and protect their accounts from fraud attempts.
