Kuwait Finance House (KFH) Egypt's financial statements show savings and deposit certificate balances rising to about EGP 22.49 billion at the end of June 2026, from EGP 18.50 billion at the end of December 2025. That is an increase of about EGP 3.99 billion, or growth of 21.6% in the first half of the year.
The data show savings and deposit certificates accounting for about 15% of the bank's total customer deposit portfolio at the end of June 2026. Total customer deposits rose to EGP 149.93 billion, from EGP 141.35 billion at the end of December 2025, an increase of EGP 8.58 billion, or growth of 6.1%.
The growth in savings and deposit certificates comes alongside the rise in total customer deposits, reflecting stronger customer demand for term savings instruments and the returns these products offer.
