The Agricultural Bank of Egypt (ABE) lets entrepreneurs benefit from financing under the initiative to support medium and large enterprises. Applicants submit the required documents: a commercial register and tax card, the licences needed for the activity, an ownership or lease contract for the business premises, a national ID card, a recent utility receipt and a feasibility study. The bank reviews these documents and carries out the necessary assessments to set all the terms of the financing, such as the loan amount and the interest rate. Note that commercial (trading) projects fall outside the scope of the 5% initiative.

Banky's view
Financing under the Agricultural Bank of Egypt's initiative to support medium and large enterprises is a valuable opportunity for entrepreneurs to grow and expand their businesses. The initiative sets out clear procedures for the required documents, such as the commercial register, tax card, licences and ownership or lease contract, which ensures transparency in setting the loan amount and interest rate. The initiative also helps stimulate the local economy and create new jobs, while commercial projects are excluded from the 5% initiative so that the financing terms are clear to everyone who benefits from the Agricultural Bank of Egypt's project financing.
