How do I receive an OTP while I'm traveling?

Before traveling, make sure the mobile number registered with your bank is the same as the SIM card you'll be using, and that roaming and SMS services are enabled.

Steps

1. Some banks use OTPs via SMS, while others may use an app or soft token.

2. Therefore, test the login method before traveling and ask your bank about authentication methods outside of Egypt.

3. Do not change your SIM card or phone number at the last minute without updating your bank, and never ask someone in Egypt to receive the OTP for you; the code is confidential and intended solely to confirm your transaction.
