If your international money transfer is delayed, start with your bank and request a tracking number or SWIFT reference.
Steps
Specifically ask: Has the transfer been sent from your bank?
Is there a correspondent bank involved?
Is the transfer held pending data or document review?
If your bank confirms dispatch, request the available tracking document, such as a SWIFT/MT103 copy if available in your case, and send the beneficiary the necessary information to help their bank track the transfer.
Do not attempt another transfer before determining the status of the first one, as a delay does not necessarily mean the transfer has failed.
