Our take
Pros
- Receive welcome reward points immediately upon card activation.
- Option to pay the Al Ahly Club membership fee in interest-free installments (over periods regularly determined by the bank).
- Points and Rewards Program: The card awards you points for every pound spent on domestic and international purchases; these points can be redeemed for cashback (or shopping vouchers).
- Airport Lounge Access: As a Mastercard Titanium card, it grants you complimentary, limited access to select VIP lounges at airports across the Middle East and Egypt.
- Mastercard Titanium Offers: Use the Mastercard Buy 1 Get 1 app to access "Buy One, Get One Free" offers.
Cons
- Focusing on a specific segment: If you are not an Al Ahly Club fan—or are not interested in its activities and benefits—you might find that the bank’s standard Titanium or Platinum cards offer reward options better suited to your daily lifestyle.
- Annual Fees and Charges: There are annual fees for card issuance and renewal (waivers may apply only for the first year or subject to specific spending conditions).
Our take
The "Al Ahlawy" Titanium Credit Card, offered by FAB Misr in collaboration with Al Ahly SC, is designed specifically for the club's fans and supporters, providing them with an experience rich in exclusive club-related benefits alongside standard credit card features.
A card designed specifically for Al Ahly Club fans and supporters, offering them an experience packed with exclusive club-related benefits.

Our take
Pros
- The bank offers special deals and gifts with every victory Al Ahly Club achieves in its matches.
- A chance to win the official jersey if you are among the top 10 card spenders every three months.
- Player-signed jersey: You will receive an official jersey signed by Al Ahly players when you spend 40,000 EGP or more per month.
- Welcome Points: Receive reward points equivalent to EGP 300 upon making your first purchase within two months of card issuance.
- Cashback and Rewards Program: Cashback of up to 2% in the form of points (0.50 Emerald Points for every EGP 1 spent), whether in Egypt or abroad.
- Phone Loan and Balance Transfer: Access cash of up to 50% of your credit limit with a 60-month repayment plan, or settle debts with other banks using your card and repay the amount over 36 months at competitive rates.
- Supplementary cards: Issuance of up to 4 free supplementary cards for first-degree relatives.
- Airport Lounges: Complimentary access to over 25 selected airport lounges.
Cons
- Major benefits tied to a specific tier: To fully benefit from the 2% cashback and doubled welcome rewards, you must be an e& Emerald customer; this makes the card less attractive to Al Ahly fans subscribed to other networks or different plans.
- High spending requirements for gifts: To receive an Al Ahly jersey signed by the players, the bank requires monthly spending of EGP 40,000 or more—a figure that may be high for the typical daily usage of many customers.
- Cash withdrawal fees and interest: Like other credit cards, 100% cash withdrawals are subject to fees and interest accruing from the date of withdrawal.
Our take
The card features a highly innovative concept—blending a passion for sports with telecommunications rewards—making it a clear winner if you are both an Al Ahli fan and an e& Emerald customer. However, if you don't meet both criteria, there are other credit options on the market that may offer greater flexibility regarding cashback and rewards, without complex conditions.
It’s a total win-win deal if you meet two criteria: an Al Ahly fan and an e& Emerald customer.

Our take
Pros
- The card allows you to convert your purchases into affordable monthly installments of up to 60 months at competitive interest rates.
- You can obtain immediate cash liquidity of up to 50% of your credit limit through the "Easy Cash" program, with the option to repay in installments over 60 months; additionally, you can withdraw up to 100% of your credit limit in cash from any ATM, subject to a maximum daily limit of EGP 20,000.
- Option to issue up to 4 additional credit cards free of charge for immediate family members.
- You can use the "Balance Transfer" feature to settle outstanding amounts owed to other banks using the card and repay them in installments over a period of up to 36 months.
- Loyalty Program: The card grants you access to the "FABMISR Rewards" program, allowing you to earn points on every purchase and redeem them later.
- State-of-the-art security features: The card supports contactless payment technology for quick transactions, alongside digital security for online shopping via 3D Secure, One-Time Password (OTP) verification, and instant SMS alerts.
Cons
- The credit limit for the Classic card alone ranges from EGP 3,000 to EGP 4,999—a very low limit compared to current market requirements.
- Absence of luxury travel perks: It is a basic, standard card; consequently, it does not offer the holder complimentary airport lounge access or travel insurance.
- Although it is possible to withdraw the entire credit limit as cash, such transactions are always subject to withdrawal fees and high, immediate interest charges calculated from the day of the withdrawal.
Our take
The FABMISR Classic Card is an "entry-level card and an excellent gateway to building a solid credit report (I-Score)," but it is not the card to rely on for major purchases or a lifestyle involving extensive travel and shopping.
An introductory card and an excellent gateway to building a good credit report (I-Score).

- FABMISR Rewards Program: The card allows you to earn points with every purchase and easily redeem them at a wide range of partner merchants.
- Take advantage of the "Easy Cash" program to obtain cash liquidity of up to 50% of your credit limit, with repayment installments spread over up to 60 months.

Cons
- Regionally limited travel benefits: Complimentary airport lounge access is restricted to the Middle East and the Levant only, and does not extend to international lounges in Europe or the Americas, for example.
- The card's maximum limit is 39,999 EGP; if your purchasing power exceeds this or you require a higher credit limit for large purchases, you will need to upgrade to the next tier.
Our take
The Titanium credit card is an ideal choice for middle- and upper-middle-class individuals seeking a card for everyday use with reasonable limits, while also enjoying a touch of "affordable luxury"—such as airport lounge access and "2-for-1" dining and shopping offers.
