When you receive a transfer in US dollars or euros from outside Egypt, the bank deducts an incoming transfer fee (usually ranging between 4 and 10 dollars or the equivalent), in addition to the charges of the foreign correspondent bank if any. The customer has the right to receive the amount in the same foreign currency, without being forced to convert it into Egyptian pounds.
