The customer chooses the car at the showroom and brings the bank a price quotation issued in the customer's name. Through its agent, the bank first buys the car from the showroom in cash for itself (taking possession of the goods), then sells it to the customer in instalments after adding a known, defined profit margin.
The car licence is registered in the customer's name with a sale ban recorded in favour of the Islamic bank.
