In Egypt, classification is based mainly on annual sales/revenue volume, not on capital.

A micro enterprise: sales of less than EGP 1 million. Small: from EGP 1 million to under EGP 50 million. Medium: from EGP 50 million to under EGP 200 million. Large companies (Corporate): sales exceeding EGP 200 million per year.
