Is it permissible to sell the asset before I finish the Murabaha transaction?

Owning an asset doesn't always guarantee you can sell it freely if it's under a lien or secured by a bank.

Before agreeing to a buyer, inquire about the settlement amount, the mechanism for releasing the lien, and the transfer of ownership.

Don't accept a deposit from a third party until you're certain the transaction is feasible.
