Bank Albilad’s Net Profit Falls 3% to SAR 740.2 Million in Q3 2026
Bank Albilad reported a net profit of SAR 740.2 million for the third quarter of 2026, down 3% from the same period a year earlier, weighed down by higher operating expenses.
The bank attributed the decline to a 16% increase in total operating expenses, driven by higher other general and administrative expenses, net credit loss provisions, and depreciation and amortization expenses, despite lower salaries and related costs.
Meanwhile, total operating income rose 5%, supported by growth in net income from investing and financing assets, foreign exchange gains, fee and commission income, and other operating income.
Lower fair value gains on financial instruments and dividend income partially offset the increase in operating income.
