CIB Wins Euromoney’s Best Bank in Egypt Award for 2026
Commercial International Bank (CIB) has been named Best Bank in Egypt 2026 by Euromoney, one of the world’s leading financial publications, in recognition of its strong financial performance, disciplined execution, and continued leadership in digital innovation.
According to Euromoney, CIB has further strengthened its position as Egypt’s leading private-sector bank through a strategy focused on scale, digital transformation, and operational excellence across all major business lines.
Marking its 50th anniversary in 2025, the bank delivered outstanding financial results, reporting a 49% increase in net income to EGP 82.1 billion (US$1.7 billion), reflecting the strength of its business model and its ability to generate sustainable value for shareholders.
Euromoney also highlighted CIB’s exceptional operational efficiency, with a cost-to-income ratio of 14%, one of the strongest in the market, alongside a capital adequacy ratio of 27%, underscoring the bank’s robust financial position and resilience.
The award reflects CIB’s continued success in executing its long-term strategy, combining strong financial performance with innovation, digital transformation, and customer-focused banking solutions, further cementing its position as one of Egypt’s and the region’s leading financial institutions.
