The Central Bank of Egypt Launches Cohort 5 of “Generative AI in Finance” program for the Professionals in Banking and Financial Sectors
Within the framework of the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) FinTech and Innovation Strategy, aiming to transform Egypt into a leading regional hub for the FinTech industry at both the Arab and African levels, the CBE launched the 5th cohort of the “Generative AI in Finance” program.
This program is driven by the CBE’s role as a key supporter for adopting advanced digital technologies -particularly Artificial Intelligence, and is purposed to equip professionals and specialists in the banking and financial sectors with the necessary skills to excel in an AI-driven world.
“Generative AI in Finance” is a program introduced by Digital Academy, powered by FinTech Egypt (CBE’s initiative) and in partnership with the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) and the Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CFTE) in UK, to develop the skills of banking and financial talents in FinTech field.
The program explores the full landscape of Generative AI fundamentals, Large Language Models (LLM) in practice, along with predictive analytics, and AI-enhanced financial modelling. Additionally, the program includes decision intelligence, natural language applications, operational efficiency, AI regulations, legal AI, and the strategy to lead transformation, not just adopt it.
