Arab African International Bank’s Net Profit Rises to USD 91.8 Million, Up 46% in Q1 2026
Arab African International Bank (AAIB) recorded its highest first-quarter net profit as of March 2026, reaching USD 91.8 million, reflecting a 46% year-on-year increase compared to the first quarter of 2025. This strong performance underscores the bank’s continued growth momentum and financial resilience, significantly surpassing its first-quarter results over the past five years.
The bank’s net interest income rose to USD 157.4 million by the end of the first quarter of 2026, while total assets reached USD 19.1 billion.
AAIB’s loan portfolio expanded to USD 4.7 billion, while customer deposits stood at USD 13.4 billion as of the end of March.
According to the bank’s financial data, corporate loans amounted to USD 4 billion, while retail loans reached approximately USD 639 million by the end of March 2026.
Meanwhile, retail deposits recorded USD 5.9 billion by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
