Dollar Breaks the EGP 50 Barrier Today, Monday, Dropping to EGP 49.93 for Buying

The US dollar continued to decline against the Egyptian pound during Monday’s trading, breaking below the EGP 50 mark for buying, recording a low of EGP 49.93 in some banks.

At the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the dollar fell to EGP 49.98 for buying and EGP 50.08 for selling during Monday’s transactions.
The lowest exchange rate for the dollar was recorded at QNB Alahli, dropping by around 12 piasters to EGP 49.93 for buying and EGP 50.03 for selling, according to the latest currency updates.
At Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar also declined, reaching EGP 49.97 for buying and EGP 50.07 for selling.
